March in 5th Grade

$Text Box: March in 5th Grade Happy Casimer Pulaski Day and St. Patrick Day! We start off the month with Terra Nova testing. A good nights sleep and a healthy breakfast will provide a good start to the morning. Social Studies will bring us up to the 1700’s as we learn about the Colonial way of life. We will also study the formation of our government. Our theme for our current unit in Reading is Investigate! This has been an inspiring unit for many students. Please continue encouraging your child to review math facts. The students are studying fractions, which deal directly with prior knowledge of multiplication and division facts.
