Hopefully, it will go out like a lamb.
Fortunately, the turbulent
weather has not affected the excellent academic performance of the sixth graders.
We will begin a unit of study on the Medieval Times.
We will discuss various prominent leaders such as King Charlemagne and William the Conqueror.
Also, we will discover why the church was “split” between the western and eastern hemispheres.
We will conclude the
unit by studying castles and possibly constructing a model castle of our own.
Throughout our Lenten journey, we will stress the importance of praying, fasting, and almsgiving.
Each student has designed a cross with their Lenten promises written on it.
The crosses are on display
to remind us to practice these promises everyday.
The sixth graders will
begin to study volcanoes in Science Class. It will be an explosive experience.
Special thanks to Mr. Aggen, Mrs. Preissler, and Mrs. Oliver for organizing the Valentine’s Day Party.
Everything went smoothly
because of your expertise.
