Philosophy

St. Benedict School maximizes our students' educational opportunities in a Catholic spiritual setting. Catholic values and moral principles are incorporated into every aspect of our curriculum. Through their academic work, their participation in community service projects and school liturgies. our students' lives will be the best example of our Catholic philosophy.
St. Benedict School is part of an entire parish community working toward unity and family and passing on our Catholic beliefs through successive generations of St. Benedict School students. St. Benedict School lives the stated purpose of Catholic education to teach as Jesus did.
St.
Benedict School fosters a learning climate within our school conducive to
academic excellence and spiritual maturity. This will help to develop the
children into thinking, problem-solving adults. We encourage our students
to develop their individual gifts and talents and we provide the tools to
do so. This includes a creative hands-on art program, access to a resource
room with Accelerated Reading and Math, which includes Internet access. After
school programs such as athletics, band, art club, and performing arts are
offered to enhance the curriculum. Through the ongoing collaboration of the
administrator, educators, parents, clergy and parish we will fulfill our commitment
to academic excellence,"Together We Work for the Children We Love."
